Digital technologies that have transformed our daily lives
have also created detailed records of those lives. In many cases, corporations, governments and other powerful institutions use those records in an attempt to understand
and predict our behavior - effectively, limiting our privacy.
This poses the question: on what level do we unequivocally understand whv privacv is critical to human freedom?

The Two-dimensional Shadow" is an exploration into our society and its ever-changing conception of privacy. The images are an accumulation of data twisted, manipulated and restructured to represent our understanding of the elusive technology used to track and gather our personal information.
It exemplifies a world that precludes acts of courage, passion and humanity out of fear of power and discrimination.
